Getting a new electric motorbike ready should feel exciting—not confusing. Below is a practical, parent-friendly guide to help you set up the HYPER GOGO S9 Plus, charge it correctly, understand the controls, and ride safely from day one.
Before You Start: Age Safety Basics
This motorbike is designed for riders 14+. Adult supervision is required, and children under 14 should not operate it.
Always ride with protective gear:

A properly fitted helmet (chin strap buckled)

Closed-toe shoes with laces secured (no sandals)

Where to ride
Use it in large, open areas on private property. Avoid traffic, public roads, sidewalks, steep inclines/steps, pools, and other bodies of water.

Assembly
Adults must assist with assembly and initial adjustments.
1) Install the handlebars

Place handlebars into the handlebar clamp in an upright, vertical position.

Insert bolts and tighten securely.

Confirm the handlebars do not move forward or backward.
Note: Take care to avoid pinching throttle/brake wires during installation.

2) Install the pedals

Insert the pedals.
-
Tighten until secure.

3) Connect the cables
Make sure all cables are connected correctly before use.

First Charge: Do This Before the First Ride
Charge the motorbike fully before use.
Charging steps

Make sure the motorbike is powered off.

Plug the charger into the wall outlet.

The charger light should be green (try another outlet if it doesn’t turn on).

Starting & stopping
To start: sit on the bike, power on, keep both hands on handlebars, and apply throttle with the right hand.
To stop: release the throttle and apply brakes until fully stopped.
Speed Modes
There are 3 speed levels (shown as 1 / 2 / 3 on the display):

Start in the lowest mode until the rider is confident and consistent with braking and balance.
LED Lights
The motorbike includes two types of lighting (motorbike lights + spotlight).

Press twice quickly: atmosphere light on/off

Press once quickly: cycle lighting effects (rainbow flow, rainbow breathe, green, purple, red)

You can also control lights via the app.
Engine Sound Modes + Bluetooth Music Note
There are three sound modes (including a silent mode). When playing music via Bluetooth, the engine sound is muted and only music plays.
Simulated Exhaust “Smoke” Function
Default setting is OFF at startup. To use:

Open the water filling port cap.

Add an appropriate amount of water.

Press the switch button to turn it on; press once to turn it off.

Pairing Bluetooth + App
To connect:

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the motorbike is turned on.

Open the motorbike app and connect wirelessly.

In your Bluetooth list, select “Hypergogo”.
In the app, you can customize LED lights, set working modes, and adjust speed mode settings (Kids/Normal/Sports with max speeds 5 / 7.5 / 10 mph).
